Black Sage Arms LLC Shipping Policy
SHIPMENT OF FIREARMS

When a firearm is purchased through the Black Sage Arms LLC website, it will not be shipped until Black Sage Arms LLC receives a valid FFL to ship it to. This means that if you are not a current, valid, FFL holder, your firearm will not be shipped to you. When an order comes in, we will ask you to identify the FFL you will be using. You will then notify that FFL and have them send a copy of their FFL to "sales@blacksagearms.com". Thy will need to send it to us and reference your order number. We will then package the firearm, insure it with our carrier and send it to your FFL. They will then conduct the transfer to you. The FFL that receives the firearm(s) is responsible for doing whatever checks such as NICS or other background checks and the 4473 paperwork. The receiving FFL needs to know this is coming. If the firearm is sent back to Black Sage Arms LLC, unclaimed, you will be credited back all your purchase cost minus 15% of the firearm for restocking (and ATF paperwork) plus shipping costs. Your FFL may also choose to charge you should you not retrieve your firearm. Black Sage Arms LLC will take every precaution to protect your firearm from damage in transit, but is not liable for shipping damage. The purchaser will need to file a claim with the carrier. Black Sage Arms LLC will work with the shipper and the customer to make things right. (Remember, we insured the thing)

SHIPPING RATES (For non-firearms):

The cost of shipping non-firearm related products will be assessed at the time of packaging as we charge exact shipping. Orders over $400 on non-firearm products will receive free shipping. Most shipping rates shown during checkout are provided by UPS/Fedex/USPS and are based on item quantity, weight, destination address, and shipping service selected. Due to residential zoning and certain items purchased that can have extra fees for shipping (i.e. ammo or large/heavy items), therefore the shipping costs can change. If your shipping cost changes you will be notified by email or phone of any additional charges as your order is processed. Black Sage Arms LLC will not ship any cartridge or blackpowder firearm through USPS or without a signature required. Black Sage Arms LLC prefers to use Fedex, UPS, and the USPS for shipping methods. If some items are out of stock for your order and your order is shipped partially you will be charged shipping for each shipment of your order.

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS:
  • Ammunition: Ammunition must ship UPS/Fedex Ground with an adult 21+ signature required on the parcel. Ammunition cannot be shipped in the same parcel as firearms. Ammunition cannot be shipped to any APO, FPO, or PO Box address.
  • Accessories & Parts: Accessories and parts that are not restricted items can ship by any UPS, Fedex, or USPS shipping method.
  • Black Powder Firearms: Black powder revolvers, rifles, or shotguns are shipped by UPS and Fedex only. All black powder guns will have an adult 21+ signature required on the parcel.
  • Black Sage Arms LLC's business hours are Monday-Friday 8-5 CST, please make note of this when selecting your shipping method. Black Sage Arms LLC offers shipping by UPS, Fedex, Freight, and USPS. Orders are shipped out from our location in La Vista, Nebraska unless otherwise noted.
  • Quoted time in transit begins after your package is processed and shipped, which can take 1-3 business days (or more if your order requires gunsmith services).
  • All Shipping methods are subject to Monday-Friday business day operations and DO NOT include Saturday/Sunday delivery or AM delivery. For Saturday or AM delivery options please contact us prior to purchase.
RESIDENTS OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES:

Our site only processes orders for USA residents. If you are from another country and would like to purchase an item please contact us by email or phone to place your order. If you are inquiring on ordering firearms or major component parts, these items may require an export and our export services are not always available so please contact us about this process. If you are ordering non-firearm items or small parts, these items usually require an AES Customs filing for leaving the USA and our fee is $20 per each shipment.

WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE DAMAGE ON A SHIPMENT FROM BLACK SAGE ARMS LLC?

Inspection and reporting to Black Sage Arms LLC must be done within 5 business days of receipt of your parcel. Contact our customer service department by email at sales@blacksagearms.com or by phone 531-375-1288. The following information will be requested from you: serial number (if you received a firearm), order/invoice number from your paperwork, and your daytime contact information. The exterior/interior packaging must be saved and photos will be required. A claim will be filed with the freight forwarder and once the claim is processed by their company we will advise you of their directions on handling your damaged item. Replacement and/or refund will occur once the claim is processed and the damage merchandise is received back at Black Sage Arms LLC place of business.
